Quote:Then Raising her voice,"English!" she called."Ingles! Come on! Let us go." pg. 95
Question: Why does Pilar call Roberto Jordan Ingles?
Comment: Pilar calls Roberto Jordan Ingles because he comes from the Americas. In the book everyone is telling Robert Jordan to kill Pablo because he's getting suspicious. The guerrillos think that Pablo might betray them and go to the fascist side. When Pablo killed the four guards the tension in the book felt like Pablo did the wrong thing. Everyone felt awkward and they wouldn't say anything. I believe that they feel Pablo might panic and blow off the bridge plan because he's starting to show weakness.

Spanish Civil War: Annotated Bibliography
This article talks about A book called The Battle for Spain by Antony Beevor. It talks about how there was propaganda all over the world about the Spanish revolution. Also it talks about how the book was very descriptive. This articles was mostly reviewing and critiquing the book. There wasn't any other good one that we found so that's why we choose this one because at least it gave us in formation on the Spanish war.

For Whom the Bell Tolls
Ernest Hemingway
In the novel For Whom the Bell Tolls takes place in the Spanish revolution during 1936 when the main character Jordan Robert came from the US to fight against the fascist for the republic in Spain. Thorough his journey he has met Pablo the general in the guerrillas camps where he is staying. Right now in the book Pablo is being getting suspicious because it looks like hes getting scared of the Fascism now. He has also met Golz a general commander who has ordered Robert Jordan to blow up a bridge. Maria the girl who Robert Jordan fell in love with who was taken by the fascist, and got toured and raped when they put her in prison. However she escaped.
A possible question I might do for my research paper is
